DC on Mobile Release v1.15.9912 - August 2026

DC on Mobile v1.15.9912 includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Enhancements

Recent searches: The search field now displays the last five animals searched, letting you quickly return to recently viewed animal records without re-typing IDs.

Transaction recovery (Stage 1): The app now captures local JSON data for transactions. This allows for better recovery of data if a sync fails or the app closes unexpectedly.

Improved BRED event entry: Copy and "sticky field" preferences now persist per user and dairy for consecutive BRED event entry. This reduces repetitive data entry by remembering previous selections across sessions.

Sire history management for BRED events: Added a Clear button to the "Last 10 Breeding Sires" list within the BRED event. This allows users to easily reset their recent sire history with a single tap.

Improved CowCard experience: The Daily and Events tabs now show more complete information with better horizontal scrolling and left-aligned headers.

Search workflow updates: You can now use the Enter key on the app keyboard to move faster from the search field to the CowCard.

Expanded transaction logging: The app now tracks scanned or tapped animals more accurately, including "Needed," "Not Needed," and "Added" states in the transaction log.

Supports larger font settings: Improved layout handling ensures text and buttons remain visible and clickable when using large phone font or display settings.

Pendo upgrade: The app now uses Pendo version 3.13.0 to maintain compliance and support better user analytics.

Help center integration: Help links now point to the new help center structure and automatically route to the correct language.

Updated OS support: The app now supports iOS 18+ and Android 12+. Users on older versions will see updated messaging regarding compatibility.

Bug Fixes

Fixed MyDC next-day sync so the app correctly identifies when a new sync is needed after being left open overnight.

Resolved issues where animal IDs were cut off, labels were cropped, or buttons like Edit Items and Add Event were clipped on certain screens.

Hardened herd refresh reliability to prevent errors during local data updates and handle repeated retry attempts safely.

Removed ID autogeneration when creating new animals to ensure users can enter their own specific IDs manually.

Corrected pen movement logging to ensure moving an animal to a new pen is labeled accurately in the transaction log.

Resolved an issue where data from deleted events would sometimes persist in new event entries.

Fixed an issue that prevented search results from appearing correctly in the Service Sire field while offline.

Resolved performance issues when adding numerous animals during event entry, specifically for Embryo Transfer workflows.

Fixed an intermittent iOS crash that occurred after filtering tasks and navigating back.

Improved column alignment and scrolling behavior in worklists and the CowCard to make data easier to read.

Resolved rendering issues on Motorola devices and fixed "liquid glass" and dark mode visibility issues on iOS.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ When editing a field in Animals > Edit Items, the first typed character may be lost if the text is still highlighted. Tap the field again to clear the highlight before typing.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ If you add an animal that is not needed to a worklist, that animal's details are replaced with dashes (-).

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ If you quickly switch between the To-Do and Done lists, then try opening a worklist, the app may crash. Restart the app, then open the worklist.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ The following known issues related to the new copy event data from the last animalcopy event data from the last animal enhancement exist in this version of the app:

When copying event data to additional animals, unchecking a copy data box, and saving changes, the unchecked copy data box may remain checked. This is cosmetic only, as the unchecked data will actually not be copied to the next animal if you continue.

When copying protocol event data to additional animals and deleting an animal from the event, the copy icon at the top right of the Events screen may remain enabled unexpectedly.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ If you tap animals in grid mode too quickly, the next animal selected may not open. Wait until the previously selected animal closes before selecting the next animal.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ If your iOS device is on operating system version 26.0, you may see a "No permission granted" message when connecting a scanner (even if you have allowed the app to use Bluetooth). You can disregard this message. Devices on other iOS versions are not affected. See Troubleshoot Scanner ConnectionsTroubleshoot Scanner Connections for help connecting your scanner.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ When selecting to Undo a task on To-Do worklist, the task closes rather than leaving it open with the option to Mark as Done.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ You may notice slower RFID scanning speeds in this release, which we're working to resolve as soon as possible.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ Events with incomplete information may be sent to Platform when you tap Process All Changes at the top of a worklist. VAS is working to resolve this issue in a future release, but we recommend always completing all required information when entering events.

~~WORKROUND~~ If you enter an event on a vet list, undo it, and then attempt to add another event, the vet list changes cannot be processed and sent to PULSE. To avoid this issue, use one of the following workarounds:

Use the Events screen to enter the events in the DC on Mobile app. See Enter Events to learn how.

Manually add the event directly in PULSE. See Enter EventsEnter Events (v2) to learn how.

Use the VAS Platform app to enter vet list events until a hotfix is released for the DC on Mobile app. See Create or Edit an Event to learn how.

~~WORKROUND~~ In EventsEvents or TasksTasks, the RFID Scanner toggle may be on when your RFID scanner is not actually connected. Close and reopen the app, and then reconnect to the RFID scanner to resolve the issue. See Connect Your RFID ScannerConnect Your RFID Scanner to learn how.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ When you open a newly added worklist for the first time, the app might crash. The app will not crash the next time you open the worklist.

~~KNOWN ISSUE~~ ~~MYDC ONLY~~ When you process Open Tasks in Online Mode, the app indicates how many animals need to be processed. However, when you process Open Tasks in Offline Mode, the indicator may not be displayed even if animals need to be processed.

~~WORKROUND~~ If you work with multiple users and/or dairies on the same device, the app may show data for the previously viewed user or dairy. As a general rule, VAS recommends always refreshing herd data after switching to a different user or dairy. See Refresh Herd Data in Online ModeRefresh Herd Data in Online Mode to learn how.

~~WORKROUND~~ If you turn on Airplane Mode on your iOS device, Bluetooth is turned off automatically. You can turn Bluetooth back on in settings, and it will stay on until you turn it off or toggle Airplane Mode off and on again.

~~WORKROUND~~ If you complete a pen correction for an animal, the app updates today's open worklists and changes the pen information for the animal to the corrected pen. The correction won't apply to yesterday's or older worklists, so you need to refresh your worklists to see the updates. DC on Mobile Release v1.14.9359 - June 2026

DC on Mobile v1.14.9359 includes the following enhancements:

Enhancements

Streamlined event entry: Optimized consecutive event entry to reduce repetitive actions and increase speed when performing back-to-back events.

Seamless dairy switching: Improved flexibility for multi-dairy users by allowing you to switch dairies or log out without needing to restart the application.

Enhanced search navigation: Refined search behavior with a new auto-clear feature, which reduces manual cleanup and makes it faster to find what you need.

System stability and performance improvements: Resolved 24 bugs across iOS and Android, including UI defects and crashes related to Turbo Modules, Realm, and Bluetooth, to ensure a more predictable and dependable experience.

DC on Mobile v1.13 includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Improved calf ID validation for FRESH events:

The app checks calf IDs to make sure they are not already in use.

Calf IDs can only include periods or commas if the dairy is set as a Source Farm.

DC on Mobile Release v1.12 - February 2026

DC on Mobile v1.12 includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

New playback sounds added to hospital worklists: The following sounds have been added to make it easier to quickly check and manage the animals on your hospital worklist:

"Bo-Bip": Plays when you scan an animal and open the CowCard.

"Treatment Date Future": Plays when the event date is after today.

"Test for Residue": Plays if an animal is past the last day of treatment and their MKDAT is today.

"Evaluate and Hold": Plays if an animal is past the last day of treatment and their MKDAT is after today.

"Ready for Beef": Plays if an animal is past the last day of treatment, their BFDAT is today, and their MKDAT is prior to today.

Multiple TRANSFER event enhancements:

Since embryos are commonly bought in batches with identical parentage and lab details, you can now copy TRANSFER event details and apply them to several animals at once. This saves time and ensures your records are accurate. See Copy Event Details to learn more.

When you add a TRANSFER event on the app, you can now enter information for Embryo Owner, Lab ID, and Lab Embryo ID.

Source farm number display order is now fully supported: The app now recognizes and includes dots in source farm IDs (i.e., 12.3456 with 12 being the source farm identifier).

Improved animal search for service sires: When you search for a service sire, the app now displays results for any matching sire ID, regardless of type (NAAB Code, Name, or Registration Number). Previously, the app only displayed results for the preferred sire ID type.

iOS devices now support BLE scanning technology: iOS devices can now scan tags using scanners with BLE technology.

Optimization and performance enhancements: This version includes a significant technology upgrade to improve performance, reliability, and stability across the entire app.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where some unprocessed, local transactions were erased, but not removed from the Transaction log.

You can now save alphanumeric values for Item Type #31 and #33 items (i.e., NDPRS1, NDPRS2, RESP, USDA, VISID, etc.).

When you view protocols in a hospital worklist, remark details are now fully shown.

The app now displays the correct fresh and frozen embryo inventory counts.

Resolved several cosmetic issues including inconsistent column widths, overlapping buttons, and headers that weren't fully visible.

DC on Mobile Release v1.11 - November 2025

DC on Mobile v1.11 includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Enhancements

~~NEW FEATURE~~ Offline editing for CowCard items: You can now Edit Items from a CowCardEdit Items from a CowCard while in offline mode. Any changes you make will automatically be processed when you are back online. See Online & Offline ModeOnline & Offline Mode (v2) to learn more.

~~NEW FEATURE~~ Copy event details to multiple animals: You can now copy event details and apply them to several animals at once. All vaccine options configured for VACC event REM definitions are now available on the Events screen when entering VACC events.

Previous breedings now display properly when tapping the CDAT field for a PREV event in online mode.

DC on Mobile v1.7 is now available! We continued to focus on RFID scanner performance in this release, and we expanded the following enhancements and improvements:

The new Transaction Log feature now includes search, filter, and sort options to help you quickly find transactions you've completed in the past 14 days. See Transaction LogTransaction Log (v2) to learn more!

When you scan an animal in a pen, the SCPEN ID is also included in the Transaction Log. This provides a handy visual cue while monitoring the changes for a specific pen.

We continued to focus on feature parity with the original version of the app (v1), and also included the following enhancements and improvements:

DC on Mobile now keeps track of some user actions. A new Transaction Log feature is now available on the More menu! Use this feature to view a list of transactions you've complete in the app over the last 14 days. See Transaction LogTransaction Log (v2) to get started!

A new My Account feature was added to the More menu. Use this new feature to update how often DC on Mobile requests your PIN when logging in to the app. See My AccountMy Account to learn more!

CowCard data from PULSE now automatically updates when your device is online.

The app also includes improved localization for Brazilian Portuguese, transaction log enhancements, and other requested improvements. We've also resolved multiple functionality issues.

Known Issues

When adding FRESH events, if CBRD (calf breed) is included in the list of items to prompt for CALF, the value will not be accepted. As a workaround, do not include CBRD in your Items to be Prompted for New CalvesItems to be Prompted for New Calves. You can then add CBRD from web by opening the calf from the Animals ListAnimals List and editing its details.
